LT SPICE is a very useful tool for electronic designers providing the ability to simulate electronic components ranging from basic passive components like resistors, thermistors, and capacitors to more complex semiconductor devices such as IGBTs. With the basic components as a reference, designers and component manufacturers such as Vishay have progressively worked to define sophisticated models that more accurately reflect the actual behavior of components with the ability to further adapt each model to specific applications. This training module is meant to introduce designers to the Vishay NTC Thermistor LT SPICE models allowing for more realistic simulations.
