The VSLY5850 is an infrared emitter in a 5 mm (T1¾) leaded package. At 100 mA forward current, it has radiant intensity of 600 mW/sr and optical power of 55 mW. It has a tight emission pattern, an angle of half intensity of +/- 3°. The VSLY5850 can be directly dropped in to replace the competitor’s part.
