Shown on this slide is the DNT900 radio module, a pre-certified low cost RF module based on FHSS. It is suitable for point-to point and point-to-multipoint wireless systems in the 900 MHz ISM band. The RF power output of the radio module can be set from 1 mW to 1 W while the RF data rate can be set from 38.4 to 500 Kbps. The DNT900 module provides the flexibility and versatility to serve a wide range of applications from simple cable replacements to sophisticated sensor networks. The DNT900 transceiver module is easy to integrate and provides robust wireless communications at up to 40 miles in line-of-sight installations. Some of the Key features include: a superior combination of FHSS, low cost and exceptionally long range providing substantial cost savings; multiple analog, digital, UART and SPI interfaces with tree routing, auto-reporting and sleep mode capabilities; AES – 128 secure encryption to  protect sensitive data sent wirelessly; API designed for easy embedded integration, speeding up design times; and FCC, Canadian IC certifications. The DNT900 can be used in applications requiring direct connections  and reporting of sensor data, SCADA for monitoring and control, scoreboards and electronic signage and irrigation control.
