The products on this slide are bidirectional (BiSy) clamping devices with a working range of ±5 V. The function is clearly shown in the simulated demonstration. Vishay provides this dual die series in small packages like CLP0603, with capacitances down to 0.29 pF (typ). These parts are used in very small applications like smart phones using high speed data line ports for data transmission.
