The LMH6732’s turn on and turn off has been characterized as popless. In many systems, it turns out that you would want a smooth transition at the output. Examples of these systems would be auto-ranging loops, the input to A/D converters, and as we’ve already shown, an analog video MUX arrangement where the output glitch could be visible on a display. The LMH6732 has been designed in such a way as to not have these undesirable glitches occur during transition. As you can see in this scope photo, the output transitions from off to on with a smooth ramp up of the high frequency sinusoidal waveform. The same thing goes for when the control voltage goes from high to low and the device is turned off again.
