This training module will use Microsoft Paint to create still images for the IS-DEV Kit-7. The first step is to open the image intended for display on the device in Microsoft Paint. Next, select the portion of the image to display on the OLED pushbutton and crop the image. Once the image is cropped, click on the resize option to size the image to 64 x 48 pixels. If the image is not sized properly it will not display correctly on the OLED device. Next, select properties from the drop down menu to ensure the image is the correct size. Once the image is ready save it as a 24-bit Bitmap file. Other graphic design software programs may be used, but it is important to remember that finished images must be 64x48 pixels and saved as 24-bit Bitmap.
