Superior Sensor Technology's pressure sensors offer an ideal combination of very high performance and reliability
Based on Superior Sensor Technology’s NimbleSense™ architecture, the VN series is a comprehensive set of pressure sensors for ventilator and high-flow oxygen devices. This family of products includes sensors for measuring inlet (wall and tank), flow, inspiratory, expiratory, and barometric pressures. The VN series utilizes Multi-RangeTM technology to create a wide dynamic range, eliminating the need for fine-tuning or additional calibration.
The VN series combines an advanced piezoresistive sensing element with integrated amplification, ADC, DSP, and a digital interface. Advanced digital processing enables functionality, thus simplifying system development while adding manufacturing ease and increasing reliability.
With optional advanced digital filtering customization and a three-mode pressure switch, the VN series is more than a pressure sensor, it is a pressure-sensing subsystem.
Finally, the VN series eliminates the need for the ventilator to oversample sensor outputs as the sensor oversamples at 12 kHz and includes internal bandwidth filters to provide a clean update rate greater than 1 kHz.
