CA3130AT BiMOS Op Amp

Rochester's op amp utilizes CMOS and bipolar technologies, a MOSFET input, and a CMOS output with operation at 15 MHz

Image of Rochester's CA3130AT BiMOS Op-AmpRochester's CA3130A is an op amp that combines the advantages of CMOS and bipolar technologies. The op amp provides a MOSFET input and CMOS output with operation at 15 MHz. The CA3130A operates on a single supply range of 5 V to 16 V or ±2.5 V to ±8 V.

This device can be phase-compensated with a single external capacitor and has terminals for offset voltage adjustments. The CA3130A is ideal for applications such as fast sample and hold amps, high-input-impedance wideband amps, and high input impedance comparators.

Features
  • High input impedance Z =1.5 x 1012 Ω
  • Common-mode input voltage range includes a negative supply rail
    • Input terminals can be swung 0.5 V below a negative supply rail
  • CMOS output stage permits signal swing to either (or both) supply rails
  • Operating temperature range: -55°C to +125°C
  • Low input current: Ii = 5 pA (at 15 V), Ii = 2 pA (at 5 V)
Applications
  • Avionics and defense
  • Industrial controls
