The exposed portion of the 315 and 415 series ultra-low connectors extending beyond the board's surface is 0.095 inch (2.4 mm). This is a significantly reduced profile compared to standard connectors, allowing for greater space savings in tight designs, which is especially beneficial in applications where space is limited, such as in compact electronic devices or densely populated circuit boards.

With reduced above-the-board height, ultra-low headers minimize signal interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity crucial for high-speed data transmission and sensitive analog signals.
