64 x 32 LCD SmartDisplay™ Switches

NKK's LCD 64 x 32 programmable switches provide design engineers with a unique programmable human interface that simplifies how users interact with machines, particularly in fast-paced environments such as broadcast equipment or medical devices, by using a changeable graphical interface. These modules are LCD programmable pushbutton switches that operate from commands supplied by the SPI communications protocol and display with RGB LED backlighting. Both devices feature a programmable and changeable 64 x 32 pixel LCD module with 64 backlit colors that displays graphics, alphanumeric characters or animated sequences including four lines of text with as many as ten characters per line.

NKK’s LCD 64 x 32 programmable switches and displays are suited for a wide variety of applications requiring a graphical user interface or real-time sequencing. The SmartDisplay™ product line simplifies and improves complex multi-decisional operations in string-dependent switch systems. In addition, NKK's LCD 64 x 32 pixel development kits offer engineers a renewed flexibility because the printed circuit board units have sockets for the LCD pushbuttons and displays, which allow them to be interchanged for optimal design testing. The kits enable rapid prototype designs so that feedback is easily obtained. Each of NKK's development kits have been designed to facilitate the creation, testing and displaying of images with software downloaded from the NKK website. Engineers can choose between a variety of LED backlighting color, RGB, intensity and LCD display combinations with the SmartDisplay series.
