Allegro's ACS722 and ACS723 high-accuracy SOIC-8 current sensor ICs for lower-power applications that require higher output swings at lower currents

The ACS722 and ACS723 employ an advanced temperature compensation scheme for Qvo and sensitivity that enables improved performance, even at the much higher gain required for these devices. Providing a full-scale ±5 A sensor with existing Hall technology was not possible until employing this compensation scheme and we think this product will compete well with other market solutions.

Features and Benefits
  • True ±5 A output or unidirectional 10 A output at VCC = 3.3 V or 5 V operation
  • Improved package performance with lower primary conductor resistance of 0.65 mΩ
  • Package creepage and clearance improved to 4 mm
  • Advanced temperature compensation and programming at the Allegro factory will provide excellent accuracy performance over temperature even at high gain
